Omaha Lawyer, Democrat, Running for U.S. Senate

A Nebraska U.S. Senate candidate is crossing the panhandle talking with residents about issues in Washington that are challenging the American economy.

Laurel native and Nebraska lawyer, David Domina stopped in Scottsbluff this morning. He talked with residents about the economy and taxes.

Domina says one issue he’s ready to tackle is the ongoing consolidation of big corporations. He says that is driving jobs out of the U.S. and shrinking the workforce within the country.

Domina says big businesses are threatening small communities and he says he’s determined to be the voice for those affected.

“In western Nebraska right now, it threatens air travel, reduces community banks, banking, it makes it harder to get loans, it’s driving independent grocery stores out of business, we’ve had a near disappearance of drug stores even independent convenient stores are now being challenged.”

Domina is looking to fill Senator Mike Johanns seat once his term ends.
